Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide consultation, resource coordination, and program development for Veterans Services at a company and clinic level.
- Responsible to establish and develop collaboration, referral, and community support with Veteran serving agencies.
- Responsible to collaborate with Chief Communications Officer to create marketing specific material and public communications on Veterans Services.
- Represents CREOKS at community meetings in the utmost professional manner and provides community education and consultation on serving and supporting Veterans.
- Responsible for providing clinical services relating to intake, screening, referral and
- psychotherapy to Veterans and their families as well as other individuals in the home, school and clinic setting.
- Group, Individual and family counseling activities as assigned by Supervisor.
- Maintain the clinical records system in accordance with ODMHSAS, OHCA, CARF and CREOKS rules and regulations.
- To read and be knowledgeable of all current CREOKS policies and procedures.
- Maintain productivity averages of direct service to clientele as set by CREOKS for full time employment.
- Coordinate and manage indigent medication/patient assistance program.
- Turn in billing and associated documentation as mandated by CREOKS policy
- Responsible for understanding and following all of the administrative, clinical, and programmatic policies and procedures of the agency.
- Responsible for billing documentation- to be completed on a daily basis and clinical documentation to be completed preferably, but no later than the beginning of the next work day.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of Master’s degree in a mental health related field.
- Must be fully licensed as an LPC, LMFT, LADC, or LCSW or Under Supervision for licensures in the state of Oklahoma.
- Must have at least 3 years experience working in adult mental health
- Basic understanding of social and cultural factors influencing human behavior.
- Knowledge of various treatment modalities especially for trauma, PTSD, substance use, and suicide prevention that support Veterans and their families.
- Capability to work as part of a team.
- Core competencies in relation to individuals with co-occurring disorders
- Excellent team building skills.
- Excellent Communication skills.
- Veteran preferred and experience treating substance use and veterans preferred.
