DashMart is a new team at DoorDash focused on building a new type of convenience store, offering both household essentials and local restaurant favorites to our customers' doorsteps.
About the Role
We're looking to hire a Vendor Sourcing Specialist who will lead supplier sourcing and vendor initiatives for the DashMart business. The Specialist will work closely with internal supply chain, inventory, and assortment team partners to support the business by identifying new vendor opportunities, managing vendor performance, deep diving key metrics, and communicating with both internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis.

Compensation
The location-specific base salary range for this position is listed below. Compensation in other geographies may vary.
Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, base salary is localized according to employee work location. Please discuss your intended work location with your recruiter for more information.

About the Role
We're looking to hire a Vendor Sourcing Specialist who will lead supplier sourcing and vendor initiatives for the DashMart business. The Specialist will work closely with internal supply chain, inventory, and assortment team partners to support the business by identifying new vendor opportunities, managing vendor performance, deep diving key metrics, and communicating with both internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
- Source strategic product by identifying and onboarding new vendor opportunities, including regional vendors and distributors
- Manage vendor relationships, analyze vendor performance, and work with vendors to improve defects
- Collaborate with category teams to understand new product types' procurement needs
- Utilize tools such as Excel to dive deep and bridge metrics, and determine appropriate action plans to drive vendor performance
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Must have strong ownership mentality
- Must have proficiency with spreadsheets
- Must be extremely detail-oriented and organized
- Must have effective written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in Buying or Supply Chain preferred
