The Vendor Management Specialist will manage the day-to-day tasks of the Bank's third-party service provider management program. This includes managing system administration and configuration, collecting data from third-party service providers, utilizing critical thinking to analyze contracts, diligence and provided reports, and reporting. Position requires an individual with the ability to create, interpret, and apply complex business requirements, make decisions regarding the development of associated reporting, and exercise discretion about significant matters.

Responsibilities:
Oversight of vendor contracts and supporting documentation within the third-party software application per the Bank's Policy and standard operating procedures.
Work with internal departments and external vendors to ensure the department's vendor documentation is properly boarded into the third-party software application, is up to date and is accurate.

Continue ongoing efforts with internal departments to ensure their vendor contracts and the supporting documentation is updated and accurate in the Bank's third-party software application.
Contact vendors to request required documentation per the Bank's third-party service provider Policy.
Prepare, review and present weekly/monthly reporting to the Vendor Management team.
Monitor workflow tasks within the Bank's third-party software application and follow up with vendors and internal employees to ensure completion, as needed.
Meet established standards and guidelines with regard to compliance, job knowledge, quality, attendance, efficiency, initiative, customer service, and overall performance.
Maintain customer confidence by providing ongoing quality service and keeping all files and information confidential. Maintain up-to-date knowledge and compliance with internal policies and procedures. Understand and ensure compliance with laws, rules, and regulations affecting the Bank.

Requirements:
Associates' degree or equivalent; Bachelors' degree preferred.
At least two years of experience analyzing legal contracts within an office environment preferred.
Knowledge of various computer software (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook). Ability to operate general office equipment (i.e., copier, scanner, etc.).
Professional demeanor and interaction with all customers (internal and external).
Effective analytical and critical thinking skills.
Effective interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment as well as independently.
Ability to pay attention to detail and handle a high volume of work with multiple interruptions.
Effective project management skills and the ability to proactively problem-solve.
Any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
