JOB SUMMARY:

The Vendor Compliance Analyst II is responsible for absorbing, interpreting, identifying, researching, extracting data, compiling, analyzing, and communicating all compliance opportunities as received. The VC Analyst II will participate in cross-functional projects using advanced analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities. This role will be responsible for communicating results and business impacts of insight initiatives to internal and external stakeholders. The VC Analyst II will assist the department head in developing and implementing quality controls and departmental standards to ensure quality standards, organizational expectations, and regulatory requirements.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Actively participates in customer webinars, conferences, meetings, workshops, panels, RVCF seminars, etc.

Completes special projects as assigned by leadership.

Promotes a strong culture of results and champions innovation through meetings, research, and communication to team members.

Performs querying involving multiple tables and subqueries, which requires an understanding of, and experience using, analytical concepts and statistical techniques, such as hypothesis development, testing and experimenting, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for business units.

Builds strong positive relationships with both internal team members and customers to ensure open communication in identifying and resolving any challenges as well as meeting and exceeding KPI's.

Serves and supports ATC with Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) certification needs as requested.

Works to minimize the costs of federal and state licensing requirements for filled articles, while ensuring the licensing requirements of all governmental agencies are met.

Exceeds external and internal customer expectations by ensuring law license requirements do not hinder product testing deadlines.

Maintains all bedding registration licenses for all ATC USA, China, and El Salvador filled article factories for 14 states.

Handles legal regulations for law tags on all filled products, including mandatory updates, state audits, regulations, and customer requirements.

Administers bedding registration licenses for AmeriFill customers that sell filled product produced in ATC facilities.

Distributes GRS (Walmart), WRS (TJX), and customers who require licenses for testing.

Understands that each application for a new license is unique and only certain states are required, and different information is required for manufacturer vs. importer.

Renews 260+ licenses annually, biannually, and triennially by creating and utilizing several spreadsheets.

Researches any rejected/failed URN license; follows up by applying for correct license to ensure compliance.

Creates high-volume customer reports with patterns and trends by category, dollars, and other relevant data.

Processes, researches, analyzes, and communicates ATC requirements for Government, Retail, eCommerce, DTC, AmeriFill, Hospitality, Direct Import and POE customers.

Maintains heavy communication and guidance for all VC Auditors located in each of our facilities nationwide.

Confirms that all shipping communications and requirements are shared with the shipping floor team members through check sheets, cheat sheets, and communication board updates on over 150 active customers. (Retail, eCommerce, DTC, POE, DI, and AmeriFill)

Ensures that compliance procedures, systems, and controls are up to date and effective.

Spearheads conformance to all customer compliance requirements such as labeling (GS 1), carton content labels, packaging, pallets, transportation, EDI, routing, ASN's.

Holds monthly Operations, Compliance, and QC Meetings to review customer requirement opportunities.

Contributes to projects to develop the efficiency and effectiveness of customer requirements processes and procedures while engaging with cross service and cross teams as appropriately.

Processes, interprets, identifies, and communicates the daily changes that occur with customers' compliance manuals, routing guides and general information; updates this information on SharePoint daily.

Updates and maintains the filled article licensing requirements by state and province.

Ensures all manufacturing facilities are licensed, and license copies are on file at each facility.

Works with all departments to assist their personnel to be compliant according to our customers' requirements.

Analyzes and supports the credit or collections of customer chargeback issues.

Works with and supports both internal team members and customers by facilitating, communicating, and inputting data into 1 Sync, VIP and GSX.

Gathers, absorbs, and processes information for each, inner, and case level hierarchies.

Accesses the 150+ unique customer portals on a daily or weekly basis.

Reads, facilitates, absorbs, processes, and communicates action steps needed for internal team members to avoid nonconformance chargebacks.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor'sdegree in Business, Finance, or related field, plus 2-4 years of experience in a similar role are required; but equivalent cumulative work experience will be considered

Great written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence others by clearly communicating a position and its desired benefits relative to alternatives

Strong aptitude to manage multiple projects concurrently

Ability to critically evaluate situations, opportunities or problems and rationalize an appropriate response

Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications with high proficiency in Excel

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Ability to withstand prolonged periods sitting at a desk

Frequent use of upper extremities to perform keyboard functions and work on a computer

Ability to occasionally stand/walk

Ability to occasionally lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds

Ability to travel by air and automobile occasionally
