Hyster-Yale Group, Inc. (HYG), a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Vehicle Validation Engineer based at our Greenville, NC Manufacturing Site.
What you will do:
- Provides support to New Product Introduction truck builds.
- Performs testing and validation of lift trucks and systems.
- Conducts competitive benchmarking evaluations
- Support / execute development testing to ensure design robustness to requirements.
- Performs data acquisition and data analysis on truck performance.
- Performs tests and compiles results into formal and informal test reports.
- Performs minor mechanical maintenance on fleet trucks
- Provides technical directions to test drivers.

What you will need:
- B.S. degree in Engineering preferred.
- 0 – 3 Years experience (with 4-year degree)
Skills, Experience & Abilities
- Knowledge of mechanical/electrical engineering theory. Ability to read technical drawings
- Ability to suggest design improvements. Ability to communicate at all levels.
- Experience of working in a team environment
- Basic knowledge / skills in vehicle/automotive technology, test practices and procedures
