Vehicle Porter (Independent Contractor)

Fluid is a peer-to-peer community truck sharing platform offering businesses and individuals a better way to rent vehicles, and vehicle owners an opportunity to make money. Fluid is rapidly scaling across the US with a proven technology platform that provides a more efficient way of connecting businesses & consumers with trucks. 

Fluid allows people and businesses to connect their vehicles to our platform via Fluid Connect (a piece of hardware) that enables Fluid's mobile app to lock/unlock, track fuel/mileage, and mobilize the engine, making any vehicle easily rentable by other businesses and individuals. We enable businesses to dynamically scale up and down without having to take on more overhead, and we enable owners to generate cash from their existing assets and vehicles purchased for investment. We're facilitating more efficient utilization of vehicles around the country.

The Job - Vehicle Porter (Independent Contractor)

Fluid Truck provides exceptional customer service which requires us to move vehicles in our fleet to and from various locations in the metro area.  We are looking for reliable, independent and flexible people to join our network of drivers.  

Our corporate office is located in Denver, CO but we need drivers in most major metropolitan areas throughout the US. We will not require vehicles to be transported from state to state.  Most vehicle moves will be 2 hours or less from the center of the city.  

You will be required to use the company's rideshare (Uber/Lyft) account use to get back to your personal vehicle after you've delivered the Fluid Truck vehicle. There is no minimum guarantee for hours worked each week.  Hours may also vary depending on when the vehicle is available and may be outside of standard business hours.

Candidates must have excellent communication skills, enjoy working independently and put safety first.

Compensation:  $25/hour

Responsibilities

• Safely operate various types of vehicles in our fleet including cargo vans, box trucks and pickup trucks

• Use our mobile app to document vehicle moves and lock/unlock our vehicles

• Must be comfortable using rideshare to travel to and from vehicle locations

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record

• Must have a smartphone and be able to use our mobile app

• No other experience necessary
