Vehicle Porter

Hampton Toyota is hiring for our Vehicle Porter position. You will be part of a team that represents the first face our customers see when they arrive into our service department.

As a Vehicle Porter you will:

• Coordinate and perform safely moving vehicles to and from our service lane, parking, and service department.
• Politely, courteously, & professionally meet and greet guests as needed, offering exceptional levels of customer service at all times.
• Ensure that all areas are well maintained, clean and free from obstructions and debris.
• Keep the lot organized and vehicles parked in such a way as to minimize chances of damage or injury.
• Overseeing and maintaining keys.
• Keep the lot clean of any garbage and debris, as needed.
• Ensure vehicles are secured at the end of the day.
• Transporting of vehicles to and from Hampton Toyota to other locations, businesses, and customer residences as needed throughout the day, usually within a 75 mile radius.

Qualifications and Minimum requirements:

• Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean, acceptable, safe driving record
• Strong organizational skills
• Detail oriented person
• Ability to work outdoors and be on feet for extended periods of time
• Excellent communication skills

• Desire to learn and continuously improve
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening requirements which include a drug screen, a background check and a Motor Vehicle Report.
• Be able to read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job you will be frequently required to sit, stand, and walk, both indoors and outdoors. You need to be able to use hands to write, finger, handle, or feel, and talk or hear. You must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
