Vda 6.3 Process Auditor/ Automotive Quality Auditor (Remote)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct VDA 6.3 Process Audits at client sites to assess compliance with automotive industry standards and requirements.
2. Utilize your automotive industry experience to identify non-conformities and areas for improvement within the client's processes.
3. Provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients to enhance their quality management systems.
4. Verify the implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions.
5. Communicate audit findings professionally and prepare comprehensive audit reports.
6. Collaborate with clients to develop and implement action plans for continuous improvement.
7. Ensure compliance by referring to the IATF 16949 standards and deployment of core tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC.
8. Stay current with industry regulations, standards, and best practices to maintain a high level of expertise.

Requirements:

1. Certified IATF 16949 Auditor with a proven track record of conducting audits in the automotive industry.
2. Ideally, certified as a VDA 6.3 Process Auditor or undergoing training on the VDA 6.3 Process Audit standard.
3. Extensive automotive industry experience, with a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and quality management systems.
4. Proficiency in IATF core tools including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
7. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in audit reporting.
8. Ability to work independently and manage multiple audits simultaneously.
9. Willingness to travel to client locations as needed.

Job Type: 1099 Contractor
Compensation: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
