VCA Dakota Ridge Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our busy practice. We are an AAHA-accredited 4 doctor general practice treating dogs and cats in the Littleton area.
We are open Mon-Fri 7am to 7pm, and Sat 8am-4pm. Closed on Sundays.
We offer a flexible schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week with weekends on rotation. This position is scheduled 36-40hrs weekly.
Benefits begin after 30 days for full-time employment. Starting wage range for this position is $18-$20 depending on experience in the veterinary field.

Requirements:
- Outstanding skills in compassionate and strong patient care.
- Strong communication skills and ability to speak in a clear, professional manner.
- Interested in assisting with patient care (feeding, kennel care), stocking supplies, cleaning and supporting our highly skilled, friendly veterinarians and veterinary technicians for examinations, diagnostics, treatments, IV catheter placement, blood draws, lab work.
- Must be a self-motivated individual, willing to work nights, weekends and holidays in addition to other shifts.
