Van Driver

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Minivan Driver to join our team. This role is crucial for safely transporting passengers, ensuring they reach their destinations on time. The ideal candidate is attentive, reliable, and committed to upholding the highest safety standards.

Hourly Rate: $18.00 per hour.

Shift: The job involves a split shift between the morning and afternoon, with a long break in between. This position guarantees a minimum of 5 hours of work per day.

Key Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):

• Conduct pre and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition, checking tires, lights, and brakes for any necessary repairs or maintenance.
• Safely pick up students in the morning and drop them off at home or designated bus stops in the afternoon following a set route.
• Adhere to a planned route and maintain a strict time schedule.
• Comply with all traffic laws and adhere to state and federal transit regulations.
• Navigate roads carefully, watching for ice, debris, or slippery spots to prevent accidents.
• Enforce onboard rules regarding conduct to maintain a safe and orderly environment for all passengers.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
• Possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Strong commitment to safety and attentive driving.
• Ability to interact professionally with clients and ensure adherence to conduct rules.
