Value & Evidence Research Associate - COVID Vaccine
Summary:
Under the guidance of a senior leader, a Research Associate has primary responsibility for planning/managing value communication tools (e.g. scientific compendium, RWE one-pager), executing literature reviews, supporting model adaptations, supporting real-world and economic evidence activities for in-line products to meet the value evidence needs of clinicians, payers, policymakers, HTA/reimbursement agencies, and health systems globally
The RA will also be responsible for study-related contracting, budgets, and vendor/partner management.
Responsibilities:
The RA will participate in studies and projects led by the Value & Evidence (HEOR) mRNA team and serve as outcomes research representative on cross-functional regional and global teams
In collaboration with internal teams and external partners, the RA will conduct literature reviews, compile compendium tools, support the adaptation of global models, design studies, author study protocols, write data analysis plans, review final study reports and scientific presentations, and support medical writing and review of publications
Types of global models for adaptation include cost-effectiveness and budget impact models. The RA will support sourcing inputs for these model adaptations.
Types of studies executed include prospective and retrospective observational studies to characterize disease burden and epidemiology, treatment patterns, healthcare resource utilization and costs, physician and patient satisfaction surveys, clinical and patient-reported outcomes assessments, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, and economic modeling.
The RA will be responsible for supporting value story generation in a cross-functional team with medical, commercial, and market access colleagues.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in a relevant discipline (health services research, outcomes research, epidemiology, public health, health economics, pharmacoeconomics, pharmacy administration)
A minimum of 1-3+ years of working experience post-degree
Experience in outcomes research, health economics, epidemiology, public health, and related fields is required
Working experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred
Experience with Systematic Literature Review (outcomes research), Value Communication tools (GVD, compendium, RWD pieces), Health Economic models, and epidemiological and statistical data management
