We are looking for a leader who has experience in transaction advisory, valuation and due diligence for a growing division of our client's firm.
You will...
- Play a leading and active role in the development of the firm’s transaction advisory practice, including piloting buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements from start-to-finish.
- Participate in meetings with senior-level client management, providing strategic and transaction-related guidance for mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, corporate restructuring, capital raising, and other strategic initiatives.
- Utilize a thorough comprehension of financial statements and business conditions to complete and review buy-side and sell-side due diligence, including quality of earnings.
- Develop detailed financial analyses related to strategic initiatives, including transactions, to assist clients in the decision-making process.
- Prepare forecasts and financial models based on economic research, industry factors, and company-specific attributes.
- Support the growth of the Transaction Advisory practice through thought leadership, networking, process improvement, recruitment, and business development opportunities.
What you need...
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- At least three (3) years of experience providing modeling, due diligence, or transaction advisory services in public accounting or in corporate finance
- Well-rounded knowledge of accounting and finance principles
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Financial Analyst (CFA)
