Summary of Responsibilities:
The Business ValuationSenior Manager is responsible for managing Business Valuation engagements, as well as financial due diligence and litigation support projects.
Essential Functions:
- Manage and/or prepare multiple types of Business Valuation engagements, with a focus on valuations for estate & gift taxes and merger & acquisitions.
- Manage and/or perform financial due diligence projects, including quality of earnings reports.
- Assist with, manage and/or perform with litigation support services involving shareholder disputes, economic damages and other miscellaneous litigation cases involving economic damages and value determinations.
- Assist with, manage and/or perform other valuation analysis projects including complex transactions, including financial modeling.
- Communicate project status in a timely and effective manner to meet internal workflow and external client deadlines.
- Supervise staff and provide on-the-job training and mentoring, as well as review of work papers and reports prepared by staff.
- Serve as firm’s valuation subject matter expert, both internally and externally.
- Participate in firm's practice development efforts through involvement with referral sources, community and industries.
- Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- CVA, ABV, CFA or ASA required
- CPA desired
- 5 + years of Business Valuation experience
- Prior M&A financial due diligence experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Motivated professional, with a desire to grow the practice
