Provide professional, courteous and compassionate guest services for patients, visitors, and guests while meeting the standards outlined by TJC and ABM. Assist the Operations Manager in overseeing and coordinating all activities related to the Valet operation. Proactively approach, greet and acknowledge all customers in a friendly, professional manner and provide quick, responsive customer service. This position is responsible for cash transactions with daily and monthly parking customers.
- Coordinate traffic flow in valet lanes and hospital porte-cochere
- Maintain the front driveway congestion-free through traffic control, monitoring illegal parking, and immediately store vehicles.
- Greet all guests; inquire about destination; give directions
- Inform guest of Hospital valet and self-park options, relevant services, hours of operation, and after-hours key retrieval.
- Assist employee and transport van drop-off and pick-up of the proper area for loading/unloading and direct deliveries to appropriate area.
- Organize "next car parked" and distribute keys to valet team.
- Authorize valet breaks and communicate shift change needs
- Predict and communicate traffic flow peaks and lot issues
- Identify and arrange for extra support for extended wait times.
- Accurately tally and split the tip pool
- Receive and receipt a variety of valet payments
- Accurately prepare daily cash reports and reconcile cash, check, HPS coupons, Hospital vouchers, and management approved complimentary parking.
- Project currency and coin requirements and re-order as necessary.
- During peak times, operate, park and retrieve all vehicles in a safe manner by obeying all traffic laws, Facility policies, and applicable pedestrian regulations.
- Ensure each guest receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and thanking everyone.
- Assist each guest with car doors, wheelchairs/strollers and belongings.
- Keep work area clean of debris.
- Issues and/or collects visitor parking tickets
- Matches visitor ticket to parking rate schedule; collects proper payment from visitors and distributes correct change
- Completes lost ticket forms when original tickets cannot be located
- Completes shift/daily reconciliation of receipts, cash, and charges; accurately accounts for all funds within cashier drawer
- Performs revenue drops following specific location procedures
- Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe work area in and around the cashier's booth
- Answers telephone in a prompt and courteous manner, when required
- Immediately reports any accidents, incidents or safety concerns to Operations Manager or Shift Lead
- Communicates professionally at all times with guests, client, and teammates
- Ability to communicate valet information and policies in a manner easily understood by hospital patients and guests.

- Ability to work in an environment that is not necessarily protected from weather and temperature changes with exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid or windy weather conditions for long periods of time.
- Must be able to meet health requirements such as TB test, Hepatitis screen, Rubella, etc.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds with reasonable accommodation, and exhibit full range of motion including standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing and crouching.
- Ability to stand continuously and perform job functions for a full shift.
- Education minimum: high school diploma or equivalent
- Read, write and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions.

- Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with a MVR criteria meeting company guidelines, if required.
