Vacation Rental Property Inspector

We are looking for a personable, organized and hard-working individual with great attention to detail to serve as a part time quality control inspector for our rental properties Friday-Tuesday 12-5pm. This person must work well in a team setting, but also be independent in staying on task without needing to be micromanaged. For property inspections you will be responsible for thorough inspections of homes for cleanliness, wear, inventory, and general presentation prior to guest arrival. Duties include completing inspection checklists, handyman tasks (basic plumbing troubleshooting & home repairs), staying on top of all operational issues (damages, missing items, returning left items), making sure maintenance items are addressed and tickets are closed in a timely manner, and some light maintenance (changing light bulbs, batteries, replacing air filters, etc.). Handyman experience is required.

Duties:

• Inspect homes for quality based on checklists while immediately addressing any critical issues found
• Supply preparation (prepare gift bags, etc)
• Purchase/arrange flowers
• Handyman skills required
• Light maintenance (change light bulbs, replace air filters, unclog a drains, change batteries, program keypads)
• Light cleaning (sweep patios, clean outdoor furniture, hand vacuum, wipe, or tidy areas missed by cleaners)
• Deliver household items (irons, hairdryers, towels etc)
• Drop off/pick up dry cleaning
• Winter/spring/holiday preparation (setting up Xmas trees, etc)
• Monitor supply levels and restock as necessary
• Storage organization
• Act as eyes on the ground to coordinate and solve the guest problems

Requirements:

• Customer service experience
• Highly responsive and reliable
• Professional in all forms of communications such as email, phone calls, video calls and texts
• Technical computer skills required on all forms of hardware - laptops, tablets and mobile devices
• Ability to work well under pressure in an agile, fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Friendly, punctual, professional, organized, and able to problem solve
• Creative, positive, consistent, and thorough
• Ability to stand, sit, and walk for an extended period of time
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and twist
• Ability to regularly push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
• Traveling between worksites is required and this person will need their own reliable transportation - Preferable a 4x4 vehicle for snow condition (mileage reimbursed at standard IRS rate)
• Valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance is required

Shift:

• Friday-Tuesday 12-5pm with need for extended hours in busy season

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
