The Amazon Gift Card business is rapidly expanding, creating and enhancing multiple stored value products sold worldwide through various channels, including the Amazon website (Consumer), direct corporate sales (B2B), retail channels (Brick & Mortar), and strategic partnerships.
We seek a passionate UX Manager to dive in, spearhead, and elevate the Amazon Gift Card experience. Your role involves leading the customer journey flow for purchasing, sending, and redeeming Amazon Gift Cards, transforming both self-use and gifting products into delightful experiences on a global scale. Collaborating with Designers, Research managers, Product, Marketing, and Tech partners, you will be instrumental in driving compelling customer experiences for Amazon. You are a strong presenter, seamlessly communicating design vision with data to engage cross-channel stakeholders, while also excelling in developing and articulating details with tech teams.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead and manage a global team of UX designers to define and deliver the Amazon Gift Card experience.
- Drive the adoption of design experiences through strategic documentation, Figma prototypes, leading Walk The Stores, and more.
- Lead design critiques and innovation sessions that encourage thinking big while still diving into crucial details.
- Bring strong expertise in UX design, including frameworks, interaction models, prototypes, and research, ensuring assessing the impact and tradeoffs of decisions, and actively drive alignment.
- Prioritize inclusive and accessible designs as fundamental elements within the design system, ensuring a consistent experience for all customers.
- Use systems-level design thinking to develop design solutions that scale
- Lead, coach, and support a global UX design team; act as a role model, mentor, and motivator in creating a diverse and inclusive working environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of design experience
- 3+ years of leading design teams experience
- Experience managing teams
- Experience with a variety of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Visio, Axure, and Dreamweaver
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working cross-team and synthesize feedback and input from product management, engineering, testing, and marketing
- Experience shipping innovative, successful consumer products

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $225,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
