UTILITY WORKER
Position Summary: The Utility Worker is responsible for maintaining kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils, and other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
- Cleans, per approved sanitation and safety guidelines, all dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, and pans, and related food preparation/serving items and equipment.
- Operate dish machine/three-compartment sink per approved guidelines.
- Check all items for cleanliness and store clean items per approved guidelines.
- Disposes of garbage in a proper manner as set forth by the supervisor. Clean floors area of any spillage of liquid, garbage, and other spills. Assist team with any necessary stocking of items.
- Clear and clean all tables as directed by supervisors.
- Inspect facility to see that maintenance problems are corrected promptly, reporting these problems to the General Manager. Keep work area properly stocked
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds for short distances.
Other duties as assigned which may include, but not limited to:
a. Assists in the preparation of food items.
b. Assists with special events as needed.
c. Sweep restaurant as needed.
