Full Time Scheduling Manager - Utility Construction
The Scheduling Manager is responsible for the planning, scheduling, and coordination of all aspects of utility construction projects. This includes developing project schedules, managing project resources, and tracking project progress. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project scheduling, utility construction, electrical transmission & distribution, and have a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop project schedules and timelines
- Manage project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment
- Track project progress and identify potential delays
- Coordinate with other project stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and vendors
- Resolve project issues and conflicts
- Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in project scheduling, utility construction, electrical transmission & distribution
- Strong understanding of project management principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
