What you will do:
The Field Auditor is responsible for inspecting the daily work of Field Technicians, ensuring that all work is completed on schedule, and that standards of quality and safety are met. A successful auditor thoroughly reviews work details of Field Technicians to achieve customer satisfaction and business results through methods and behaviors consistent with Southern Cross Corporation's core values: honesty, integrity, professionalism, directness, agility, and thoroughness.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintains a safe work environment and a high level of safety awareness in accordance with Southern Cross Corp’s Safety Standards.
Gathers audit data from electronic database to aid in performing field audits and evaluations of technicians.
Follows organizational policies and procedures; ensures Field Technicians are compliant.
Leads or assists in training Field Technicians.
Reviews and monitors work goals and objectives
Coaches Field Technicians, provides feedback on improving.
Minimum Qualifications:
Intermediate proficiency MS Excel, MS Word
HS Diploma or GED
Valid Driver's License
Basic computer knowledge
Need to have basic utility/safety auditing experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in gas utility inspection
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience in supervising others
Automated meter reading
Physical Demands:
Constant walking, squatting, bending, lifting, crawling, and reaching.
Walking up to 5-7 miles per day over a variety of terrains
May have to work in extreme heat or extreme cold, light rain, sleet, or snow.
Heavy travel required (25-50%) from work site to work site or state to state, to Southern Cross office, or client's facilities on daily/weekly basis.
May be required to work evenings or weekends.
What You Will Earn:
Starting pay is $20.00/hour.
You’ll be eligible for automatic .50 cent raises at both 60 and 180 days.

Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 1st Shift.
