The City of Palm Coast is a dynamic and forward-thinking organization committed to delivering high-quality utility services to our community. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Director of Utility. The ideal candidate should be politically astute with the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with staff, contractors, elected officials, and the public. They will possess knowledge of city ordinances, policies, and procedures associated with City government, as well as considerable knowledge of state and federal policies and regulations as they relate to the utility department and its functions. The selected individual will have extensive budget and capital project experience. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related field is desired; master's degree is preferred. A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience OR any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge and skills will also be considered.
