User Interface Designer

In the role of User Interface Designer, you will work with the Software Team to support RMLS applications. You will collaborate with team members and stake holders in designing RMLS applications to user needs. You will also translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, and transform them into intuitive, and functional User Interfaces.

· Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience

· Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering

· Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback

· Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards

· B.S. of Computer Science, Math, or related technical field and fifteen (15) years of related work experience with computer science or math OR

· Master’s Degree in any field and twelve (12) years of related work experience in computer science or math

· Proven UI experience in Web and iOS Application

· Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio

· Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps

· Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Javascript libraries such as JQuery for rapid prototyping

· Bootstrap CSS Framework

· Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction

· Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies

· Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

This position requires work to be performed at the William J Hughes Technical Center and may require travel to airport locations around the USA when scheduling dictates or at management discretion.
