HOW YOU'LL HELP US KEEP CLIMBING (OVERVIEW & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)
The UX Designer will be responsible for creating intuitive, user-centered designs that enhance the overall User Experience and drive engagement on Delta’s digital products, including delta.com and the Fly Delta mobile app. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, user researchers, UI designers and developers, to translate user needs and business goals into effective digital experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups to visualize and communicate design concepts and interactions.
- Design intuitive user interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring a seamless User Experience.
- Implement user-centered design processes, including usability testing, to validate and iterate on design solutions.
- Collaborate with visual designers to create consistent and aesthetically pleasing designs that align with brand guidelines.
- Advocate for best UX practices and principles within the organization, educating and influencing stakeholders.
- Conduct user research and gather insights to understand user behaviors, needs, and motivations.
- Mentor new team members

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with creating experiences for web sites and/or mobile apps.
- Proven experience as a UX Specialist, UX Designer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your UX design skills and process.
- Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
- Solid understanding of web and mobile design guidelines, accessibility standards, and responsive design principles.
- Proficiency in creating wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups using tools such as Figma or similar software.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
- Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

- Understanding of digital accessibility design and User Experience best practices.
