Job description

Our Design and Customer Experience (DCE) team is looking for a User Experience (UX) Designer to join our Consumer Bank team. 

In this role, you'll work closely with our Senior UX Leads and cross-functional partners to create products and experiences to delight customers. You'll have the opportunity to help shape the strategic direction of our products, and get hands on creating prototypes and high-fidelity designs for our web and mobile app.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (including Product, Research, Content, Tech) to help define product strategy, aligned to user needs and business goals.
  • Get hands-on designing end-to-end experiences leveraging research and design thinking best practices to inform your work.
  • Participate in research activities such as user interviews, surveys, focus groups, usability studies, etc.
  • Lead design activities and creation of UX artifacts for web, mobile and omnichannel experiences (e.g., journey maps, conceptual models, user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes), working in close partnership with content designers and UX researchers.
  • Develop and sustain effective cooperative working relationships with peers, managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Create presentations and share work with stakeholders providing rationale for strategic decisions and design choices. 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher)
  • 5+ years of professional Experience Designing and delivering customer-facing products and experiences for web and mobile.
  • Advanced to expert skill level designing and prototyping in Figma.
  • Strong visual design skills + experience in service design.
  • Deep knowledge of user-centered and human-centered design approaches
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams through discovery, ideation, prototyping, testing, and enablement etc, using Design Thinking and Agile best practices.
  • Strong storytelling skills 
  • Experience creating presentations in PowerPoint and/or Keynote.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills

  • Understanding of Accessibility Guidelines and Inclusive Design practices.
  • Experience designing for large scale, omnichannel products and services.
