(USA) Air Import Operator

Salary: $20 to $25 per hour

Role & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate truck recoveries of all LAX airport destined Air Import shipments.
• Communicating with origin office in regards to the delays and exception that affects the shipments.
• Work with the airline GHA for nomination and confirming cargo availability.
• Setting up and protection of payment for airline handling fees.
• Filing Preliminary Claims with the Airline and GHA for any damages or loss cargo.
• Input all data entry such as ATA and POD information on the master bill level.

Qualifications:

• Minimum experience in Logistics (2 years)
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to have on the job training.
• Able to work in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal, written communication skills and phone etiquette.
• Excellent customer service and follow up skills.
• Knowledge in International shipping.
• Able to prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel.
