Job Description:
- The scope of this project is process, document, and Systems chief/fellow reviews in support of a commercial engine development program. The engine program will follow a unified organizational approach t system engineering and the principles of ARP4754A or B:
- Review and provide guidance/recommendations on Systems plans:
- RMVVP
- System Development Plan
- Configuration Management Plan
- Systems Safety Plan
- Guide for ARP4754 application in a practical setting
- Guidance on levels of involvement and independent review considering practical vs compliance.
- Requirements Based Engineering guidance the RBE team within the context of the systems plans above.
- Model Based Engineering guidance the Controls and RBE teams within the context of the plans above.
- Consultation of—but not approval of—Systems design reviews
- The requested work requires interface with Project, Design, Controls, component analysis, Chief engineering, and potentially other Client offices, and will require knowledge of DOORS, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), CAMEO, and/or System Modeling Language (SysML); however, intimate knowledge of the tools themselves is not required.
- Time and skillset permitting, the work may require guiding a team of engineers in the execution of a major design review material within the context of a HON owned and approved design review expectations agreement.
- The work will comply with any applicable Client standard practices for engineering and requirements management.
