JOB DESCRIPTION: Healthcare system near Atlanta, Georgia is actively seeking a Board Certified Family or Emergency Medicine physician to serve as the Medical Director of our three Urgent Care practices. Position Highlights: Role is designed to be 75% clinical and 25% administrative Participate in provider recruitment and orient new providers Review, sign, and supervise APPs Provide chart reviews, corrective action, and provider performance reviews Attend provider meetings; facilitate internal staff meetings; effectively communicate clinical updates and procedural changes to all providers HOSPITAL: This is a nonprofit regional health system serving west Georgia and east Alabama, served by a medical staff comprised of more than 300 physicians representing 30+ unique medical specialties.
