Hamilton Health Care System and the Hamilton Physician Group (HPG) are recruiting a Pulmonary/Critical Care Medical Director for Hamilton Medical Center and a hospital-owned outpatient practice.
Qualified candidates:
- Board Certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care with 5+ years of experience
- Interested in growing a Pulmonary/Critical Care service line
- MBA a plus
- +/- BC/BE in sleep medicine
- Superb procedural skills
- Ideal candidates will have an interest in teaching
- Ability to work as a team member
- Commitment to quality, patient safety and overall excellence in evidence based clinical care
Responsibilities:
- 50/50 IP/OP Pulmonary Critical Care Clinical Duties with Administrative Medical Director Time.
Critical Care Department Overview:
- 18 bed MICU, 10 bed SICU
- Level III Trauma center
- Physician provides On-Site day coverage with night call (call pay provided)
- 24/7 APP support
- Academic center with opportunities to participate with internal medicine and family medicine residency program
- Tremendous opportunity for growth within the practice, where you will be supported by a strong and collaborative team with an excellent work culture & collegiality amongst providers and staff
Outpatient Practice Overview:
- Multi-specialty clinic including Pulmonary, ID, Rheumatology
- Monday-Thursday, 8-5, Friday 8-12
- Procedures- Bronchoscopy; EBUS
