Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual with a strong events project management experience for both on-site and online events to effectively position and promote the UPS Healthcare brand. The Events Manager will play a pivotal role in advancing UPS Healthcare's business objectives, including enhancing brand awareness, and generating sales leads. This global role supports events across the US, EU, APAC, and LATAM regions. The Events Manager will work closely with the sales, field marketing, and digital marketing teams to create a strategic events calendar and will be responsible for managing budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships.
Responsibilities
Collaborates with sales and marketing teams to understand region / district business priorities and incorporate those into event strategy and activation.
Creates annual plans including objectives, competitive analysis, audience definition, tactics, resources, timeline, budget, and deliverables) to set expectations and guide plan execution.
Plan, develop, and execute a range of events, from smaller customer events to larger UPS Healthcare Forums.
Plan and support online webinars to engage with our target audience and promote UPS Healthcare's services.
Manage event budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships, ensuring all events deliver a strong return on investment.
Coordinate post-event follow-up activities to maximize the benefits of each event.
Continually evaluate the effectiveness of events and make recommendations for future improvements.
Regularly reports and presents on program performance to inform key stakeholders, including senior management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (or internationally comparable degree) in marketing, communications, or related field.
5+ years of experience in event planning and management, preferably within the healthcare sector.
Proven track record in developing successful event strategies and delivering high-impact events.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel as required (estimated 10-20%)
