Job Description:
Job Summary
The Claims Intern uses company software, data analytics, and cross-department collaboration to identify patterns of potential fraud schemes affecting UPS Capital. This position combines analytical skills with an acute knowledge of the current claims process in order to develop new solutions to mitigate fraud risk.
Responsibilities
- Works with other departments to build out multi-purpose solutions
- Uses internal/external tools in order to conduct extensive claims analysis
- Engages in self-education to stay informed on current fraud trends
Preferences
- Possesses strong communication (written/verbal) skills
- Demonstrates complex problem solving, cognitive flexibility and computational thinking
- Displays Digital and Data Literacy
- Demonstrates Project Management
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer
- Employer will not sponsor a visa for this or future positions
- Must be a rising college junior or senior, or recent graduate within the last 24 months
- Must be located in the geographic location of the position (Ft. Worth, TX or Atlanta, GA) or willing to relocate yourself
