Job Requirements:
Requirements to excel at Finley's:
- Texas Cosmetology or Barber license.
- Minimum one year of experience cutting hair in a Barber Shop or Salon setting.
- Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in men’s hair cutting and barbering techniques, including clipper and scissor cuts.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adeptness at multitasking.
- Punctuality, high motivation, and availability to work occasional weekends.
- Dress code: Casual or professional attire encouraged, representing your personal style.
Job Description:
Here are just a few of the items you'll be responsible for:
- Knowledgeably evaluate the client’s hair and suggest appropriate treatments and products.
- Consult with the client, offering hairstyle and treatment recommendations.
- Cut and style the client’s hair with precision and according to their preferences.
- Provide add-on services like an amazing shave, beard trim, waxing, or facial.
- Keep the barbershop and your station clean and sanitized.
- Pitching in with laundry and keeping the place spick and span.
- Professionally check clients in and out and get commissions on all of your product sells.
- Fostering a professional environment and building strong relationships with your colleagues and clients.
- Sporting a positive attitude, welcoming every client with respect and professionalism.
- Being a professional when it comes to sticking to your schedule, finding coverage when needed, and following our policies for shift swaps, sick days, and vacations.
