Job Description

In this position you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean working environment by adhering to all procedures and rules. Your duties will include understanding and interpreting engineering drawings and instructions, operating various equipment such as pipe cutters, threaders, and torches, and performing soldering tasks. Quality control is a key aspect of this role, as you will need to check your work for accuracy, match equipment serial numbers to engineering drawings/bills of materials, and sign off all administrative paperwork upon job completion. Furthermore, you will be expected to locate all necessary equipment, tools, and parts for each job, determine appropriate unit layouts based on engineering drawings and equipment functionality, and maneuver in and around units to accurately place components. Your role will also involve laying out equipment so that all parts are easily serviceable.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Pryor, Oklahoma.

Work Environment

The work environment is an industrial production area for a manufacturer of refrigeration and HVAC equipment. Employees are constantly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles, and the noise level can be high in some areas. The work involves exposure to extreme temperatures in both winter and summer, and potential stress caused by the pressure of meeting deadlines and product quality standards. Seasonal variations in hours worked may occur based on production demands. The work schedule is 1st shift from Monday to Friday, 6am-4:30pm, with overtime as required, and a weekend shift from Friday to Sunday. The work environment is climate-controlled and the company culture is positive and supportive.
