The Board of Preble County Commissioners will accept applications for the full time, classified, FLSA non-exempt position of Unit Support Worker 2 for Preble County Job & Family Services, Children Services Division. The pay range for this position is $12.84 – 17.56 per hour

Position duties as follows: Receives incoming calls and walk-ins. Assists, interviews, and screens incoming agency clients to either resolve the concern or transfer appropriately. Keep information packets up to date, performs general clerical duties including file maintenance, processes mail to the CSD unit, may determine eligibility for emergency assistance programs. Documents contacts in the computer system timely. May arrange transportation for clients and make contacts as needed to caregivers and parents to assist with resolving needs. Must be able to work as a team, have a positive attitude and a strong desire to help families in crisis. Must be able to multi-task and excel in a busy, rapidly changing environment. Must be organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks, using critical thinking skills to determine priority.
