Under supervision of the CSEA Team A supervisor, the Child Support Receptionist is the customer's first point of contact within the department. The Receptionist welcomes customers and directs them to the appropriate CSEA staff member. The Receptionist answers and routes customer phone calls. The Child Support Receptionist also performs specialized clerical tasks as directed.
65% Performs specialized clerical tasks (e.g., copies employment and income verifications and other various paperwork, updates agency reception database, prepares forms, envelopes, prepares and receipts for paperwork that is submitted to the agency and distributes accordingly), and assists clients with paperwork as needed.
20% Greets customers in-person or on the phone and determines purpose of their inquiry or visit. Attends trainings, workshops and meetings.
15% Performs other related duties as required.
