Salary Description: From $15.00 an hour
- Department: Surgery Recovery
- Schedule: 32 hours per week
- Hospital: Ascension St. Mary's
- Location: Saginaw, MI
Perform administrative and clerical duties in support of an assigned clinical area.
- Greet patients and visitors, answer/screen/route telephone calls, files, distribute mail and perform other general clerical duties.
- Communicate with patients, families, physicians and other healthcare team members about patient care according to protocol.
- Type various reports and document for unit staff.
- Assist with processing patient admissions, transfers and discharges. Assemble and maintain patient charts.
- All other duties as assigned.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Coordinator specializing in Healthcare preferred.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
