We are seeking a(an) Department Secretary Labor and Delivery for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Job Summary and Qualifications
Our Unit Secretaries will work under the supervision of the Department Director, Nursing Clinical Coordinator, or Registered Nurse (RN) to assist in the daily clerical duties for the department or unit.
- Clerical duties include assembling and maintaining charts, filing, answering and transferring phones, and relaying messages.
- You will be responsible for ordering unit/department supplies and forms as needed.
- You will be expected to multi task and work efficiently in a fast paced environment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous Unit Secretary healthcare experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
