Summary:
Lake Mary location seeking licensed and experienced Underwriter for Back End processing. The Underwriter processes home changes and cancellations, creates accord forms/evidence of insurance and ensures applications/documents are received prior to submitting to carriers. We represent over 50 carriers for personal lines insurance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must have comprehensive knowledge of property and casualty insurance in the state of Florida and be familiar with property insurance policies, coverage and guidelines
- Reviews files, collects missing documents, signatures and all requirements to complete and bind a policy
- Ensures all required documents are provided to process changes per carrier requirements
- Processes mortgage changes and processes changes to dwelling and other home coverages, adding and removing credits; processes cancellations

Minimum Qualifications, Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- Have excellent technical and communication skills
- Have the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Superior organizational skills a must
