Ambassador Worldwide Protection Agency, Inc. is currently seeking experienced and highly qualified individuals to join our team as Armed and Unarmed Security Officers in Memphis, TN metropolitan area. Ambassador Worldwide Protection Agency, Inc. is a para-military and para-policing State of Tennessee contract security company and 8(a) U.S. Government contractor where we provide private protective services security solutions on a global scale.
- Must be a citizen of the United States or a resident alien and eligible to work in the United States.
- Unarmed License: must have possession of an active State of Tennessee Unarmed Security License (Guard Card)
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Minimum of 2 years proven experience working as a security officer
- Good moral character with no convictions for DUI, Domestic Violence, drug or narcotics charges, theft or other dishonest acts
- No disability that would hinder the ability to perform required duties
- Strong observation skills and attention to detail
- Must not have been dishonorably discharged from U.S. military service
- Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong teamwork skills
- Capacity to work well under pressure
- Basic computer skills for operating security equipment
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
- Monitor and operate CCTV cameras and other security equipment to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter and detect any suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, including investigating disturbances and reporting any unauthorized individuals or activities.
- Enforce access control procedures, including verifying identification and ensuring only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, answering inquiries, and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies and/other team members as needed to maintain a safe environment
- Maintain a high-level security presence and safety by patrolling assigned areas and promptly responding to potential threats or violations of property rules, by-laws, city ordinances, county ordinances and state law
- Effectively and efficiently communicate complex information to clients and fellow team members
- Demonstrate a strong ability to recognize, analyze and enforce security measures to mitigate potential risks
- Uphold the principles of the agency and adhere to all standard operating procedures
