Ultrasound Technologist
Seeking a PRN (as needed) Ultrasound Technologist in Johnson City, TN at our Imaging Center Location.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Recognizes significant structures, artifacts, and pathology and equipment limitations.
- Sets up and adjusts all equipment and manually maneuvers transducers to perform exams.
- Follows protocols and or physician-specific orders. Review prior images/reports/patient history as needed.
- Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures.
- Performs routine and complex studies and assists physicians in a variety of imaging procedures
- Participate in various teaching and mentoring of ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGISTs
- Able to perform on all age groups from infant to adult/geriatric.
- Organizes processed images, measurements, calculations and other data in a logical sequence for presentation to the physician for interpretation.
- Consult with the physician as applicable regarding the quality of images and data obtained.
- Performs ultrasound and other procedures on patients as directed by Physicians & advanced practitioners.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Radiology Technology from an accredited institution; Registered ARRT by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Registry or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS preferred.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT)
- Certified in Physics and US Abdomen and or OB/GYN.
- Candidates must have a minimum of one year experience in sonography applications.
