In this key role, the Ultrasound Technologist will provide patient services using diagnostic ultrasound equipment. This individual is competent in the production and analysis of ultrasound images used by physicians for patient diagnosis and treatment. In addition, the individual must be prepared to render quality patient care by exercising discretion and judgment in the performance of sonographic services. The Ultrasound Technologist provides patient services using diagnostic CT scan equipment, is competent in the production of quality images to be used by physicians for patient diagnosis and treatment. In addition, the individual must be prepared to render quality care by exercising discretion and good judgment.
Position Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved School of Ultrasonography
- Certification/School
- ARDMS or ARRT
- Knowledge of all Ultrasound Procedures
- Preferred Knowledge of Vascular, General, Gyn and OB imaging
- Minimum 3 years' experience preferred
- CPR Certified
- Knowledge of RIS/PACs environment
- Ability to work independently and handle busy environment
- Flexible with volumes and schedules as needed
- Flexible in working Main and off sites locations as required.
- Good Communication and patient care skills
