Operates Ultrasound equipment in the ultrasound department to produce high quality, diagnostic images and guided diagnostic and therapeutic invasive procedures to aid in patient diagnosis. Assumes responsibilities for the operation of the department in the absence of senior personnel. Supports and maintains the University Health's protocols, values, and mission, to include excellent customer service initiatives.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Completion of an accredited Ultrasound program or equivalent is preferred. Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and one year of experience is required. Must meet clinical ladder criteria.
