The Role:

Ultrasound Technician must be able to perform the following duties, which includes, but is not limited to:

• Schedule and arrange Ultrasound services for all patients.
• Have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures.
• Must be able to work independently
• Ability to lift Ultrasound equipment. And assure the equipment is available and in working order. Immediately reporting any malfunction or needs of repair.
• Must be willing to drive to patient site.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with patients.
• Setting, adjusting, manipulating and controlling a variety of electronic equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Is cognizant of patient’s suspected pathology as reported by the Provider.
• Analyzing patient’s general body size, physical condition, age and any abnormalities in order to determine proper electronic and technical factors.
• Positioning and handling patient with high degree of safety and professionalism.
• Maintaining accurate information on patient exams and performs exam as ordered by the ordering physician.
• Keeping track of fuel receipts.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience preferred

RDMS Certification and RVT Certification required, CPR Certification preferred

Job Types: Full-time, PRN

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

License/Certification:

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Required)
• Driver's License (Required)
