Ultrasound Technologist

Life Scan Wellness Centers, a nationally recognized medical practice in the field of first responder health, wellness, and fitness, is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. As an Ultrasound Technologist at Life Scan, you will play a vital role in our unique, integrated, team approach that focuses on prevention and early detection.

• Perform 9 non-diagnostic ultrasound examinations, M-F
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during the procedure
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient information and exam findings
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Continuously stay updated with industry advancements and best practices in ultrasound technology
• Educate patients on the procedure, address any concerns, and provide necessary support throughout the process

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited school
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, and physiology, related to ultrasound imaging
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Attention to detail and accuracy in conducting examinations and recording results
