Travel Ultrasound Technologist Job

Sunbelt Staffing is looking for an Ultrasound Technologist travel job in Moses Lake, Washington. Travel experience is preferred, but newcomers are welcome to apply.This is a 13 week travel contract but possible extension may be available towards the end of the assignment.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited ultrasound technology program.
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification is required.
• State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Care:

   • Greet and prepare patients for ultrasound procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
   • Ensure patient comfort and cooperation during the examination.

2. Ultrasound Imaging:

   • Perform ultrasound examinations using various techniques to visualize and assess internal organs and tissues.
   • Adjust and operate ultrasound equipment to obtain optimal imaging results.

3. Image Analysis:

   • Analyze ultrasound images for quality, clarity, and accuracy.
   • Identify and document any abnormalities or concerns, and collaborate with radiologists for further evaluation.
