Ultrasound Technician

Responsibilities: - Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients using specialized equipment - Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to them - Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible images - Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings as necessary - Analyze images and provide preliminary findings to the healthcare team - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation - Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasonographer - Proficiency in performing a variety of ultrasound procedures, including but not limited to: - Mammography - PET scan - X-Ray - Sonography - CT - In-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to ultrasound imaging - Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and equipment - Strong understanding of aseptic technique and infection control practices Requirements: - Valid certification as an Ultrasonographer - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment - Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in image interpretation and documentation We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages for qualified candidates.
