Job Summary and Qualifications

A Ultrasound Tech performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures, providing expertise to physicians and other members of the medical community. Assists radiologist with diagnostic interpretation of scans. Exercises professional judgment in performance of procedures on all age groups: neonates, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered diagnostic medical sonographer in OB//Gyn and/or abdominal ultrasound.
• ARRT or ARDMS
• One year experience preferred OR current enrollment in a sonography program will satisfy 1 year experience requirement
• Work Schedule:  PRN as needed
