Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ultrasonographer to join our medical team. As an Ultrasonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic evaluations using Ultrasound Technology to produce images of patients' internal organs and tissues. This is a vital role in our healthcare facility, as your expertise will contribute to accurate diagnoses and treatment plans for our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound scans on patients using specialized equipment
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure
- Obtain and record patient medical history and relevant information
- Analyze and interpret ultrasound images to identify abnormalities or potential health issues
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information
- Maintain accurate records of procedures, patient information, and results
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in Ultrasound Technology and techniques
Requirements:
- Proven experience as Sonographer
- In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and software
- Strong understanding of diagnostic evaluation techniques
- Familiarity with various types of medical imaging, including mammography and X-ray
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret images
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
