About the Role:
As an Ultrasound Technologist, you'll work under the guidance of our esteemed Radiologists, performing routine and specialized CT procedures. Your responsibilities will encompass both general diagnostic radiography and invasive CT procedures across various specialties, including OB/GYN, General, and Vascular. Proficiency in cross-sectional anatomy and a deep understanding of Computed Tomography physics are essential for success in this role.
Your expertise in patient care must extend across all age groups, from infants to geriatric patients. We're seeking a Technologist who can not only deliver high-quality imaging services but also prioritize patient education, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and invasive CT procedures as directed by the Radiologist.
- Demonstrate proficiency in general diagnostic radiographic procedures.
- Showcase expertise in patient care tailored to the needs of infants, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Uphold excellent public relations, decision-making skills, and professionalism.
- Adhere to the facility's commitment to quality in all aspects of service.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited school in Radiologic Technology, validated through the ARRT database.
- CT Registry is preferred; verification through the ARRT database.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Obtain CT registry within 12 months if not registered at the time of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
