Asante's imaging experts go above and beyond. All our technicians are highly trained, exceeding state requirements with advanced certifications in MRI, CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and bone density scanning. Our imaging program is supervised by a board-certified radiologist who works directly with technicians at the hospital to interpret test results and offer guidance on complex cases.
The Asante Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinic offers a wide spectrum of medical services for expectant mothers to detect and prepare for problems before a baby is born. Our prenatal screenings offer the most advanced care available working with both high-risk and low-risk women for routine ultrasounds, first-trimester screenings, and expert care for a variety of pregnancy-related health concerns.
As an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer at Asante you will perform a variety of specialized ultrasonic procedures while assisting physicians in patient diagnosis and various ultrasound-guided surgical procedures. You will have the opportunity to work with a cohesive team in providing quality healthcare using state of-the-art Ultrasound Technology and to build relationships with physicians and medical staff to provide quality results.
Qualifications
- BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start.
- Licensed in Sonography by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) with Subspecialty as Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and Specialization in Abdomen (AB) - OR - Licensed in Sonography by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) with Subspecialty as Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and Specialization in Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB) is required.
- If the license by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) is in transition of renewal, the certification part of the license may need to be verified by the appropriate national agency: ARRT, ARDMS, ARMRIT, CCI or NMTCB.
- Must obtain Certificate of Competence in Nuchael Translucency (NT) and Nasal Bone within 3 months of hire.
- Associate degree preferred.
- Treat patients as a first priority by providing dependable, compassionate, and efficient care.
- Ability to solve problems related to scheduling, patient care, and equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients and staff.
- Exhibit outstanding professionalism, customer service, and teamwork abilities.
- Strong computing and keyboarding skills.
- Competitive starting wage
- An additional 15% on top of the base hourly rate (if not an employee already in a benefited position)
