Job Title : Ukrainian Interpreter/Trainer Reports to : Site Lead Location : Flexible; work occurs in both the US and Europe. About the Postition: The contracted employee will receive US-based training on an emerging system and subsequently conduct training and Ukrainian language interpretation to military members of another nation. Ability/willingness to learn is a must.
Will directly interface with US engineers and logistics specialists to successfully interpret and deliver instruction. A technical background is required, with a preference for expertise in communications, electronics, and integrated weapon systems. The trainer/interpreter will present pre-developed technical content in accordance with a training plan designed to rapidly enable operational effectiveness.
Technical content consists of Operations, Maintenance (preventative), Installation, and Training (OMIT) materials. Anticipate a 5/1 student/trainer ratio and extended duty of 60 - 72 hours per week while in Europe. Position Requirements: US Citizen with background check.
Professional Ukrainian Interpreter. Program-specific Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to protect dissemination of both proprietary original and translated documents. Medical clearance for overseas travel/deployments.
Eligibility to receive a US Armed Forces Common Access Card (CAC) . Travel flexibility is a must; work is to be performed between August 2023 - December 2024 in 60 day rotational increments in both the Continental US and Europe. Shorter (1 - 2 week) periods of training will occur within the Continental US.
Travel is reimbursable in accordance with the US Joint Travel Regulation (JTR). All work is conducted at the Unclassified level with some content designated as Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). Good oral, written, and instructional communications skills.
