Ui/Ux Designer

Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and passionate UI/UX Designer who is well-versed in Shopify, user-centered design methodologies, and possesses a keen eye for aesthetic and functional details. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create visually appealing, intuitive, and user-friendly interfaces that align with our brand identity and enhance our customers' online shopping journey.
Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project goals, requirements, and user needs.
• Design and iterate on user interfaces for our e-commerce platform, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience across desktop and mobile devices.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups that effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.
• Leverage Shopify's theme customization capabilities to implement responsive designs that optimize performance and user engagement.
• Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI components to ensure design consistency and streamline the development process.
• Conduct usability testing, user research, and gather feedback to continuously refine and enhance the user experience.
• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UI/UX design and e-commerce to drive innovation.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create visually compelling assets for promotional campaigns and email templates.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a culture of design excellence and continuous learning.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing Shopify front-end design work and projects that highlight your design process.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.
• A solid understanding of Shopify is preferred.
• CSS and HTML knowledge preferred.
• Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile-first design practices.
• Ability to balance user-centered design principles with business goals and technical constraints.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present and explain design concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with user research, usability testing, and incorporating feedback into design iterations.
• Detail-oriented mindset and a passi

• Collaborative attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience.
